RASHMI NAIK

Rashmi Naik serves as the Treasurer for the Global Telehealth Network. She is a Chartered Accountant from India having nearly 16 years of work experience in the field of Financial and Management Consultancy.

She specializes in Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Planning and Debt Restructuring. She has worked as a Project Leader in many World Bank funded projects in India and Abroad.

In 2008, Rashmi changed her focus to the Development Sector. She was associated with Navam, a Pune based Community Foundation, to strengthen the organizational and financial management capacity of NGOs. She has undertaken many capacity building training projects for smaller NGOs in areas like office management, accounts keeping, financial management, volunteer management and MS office (Excel and Word). She has assisted NGOs in developing innovative projects, documentation and presentation for funding, and if the project was approved for funding, then project implementation and reporting.

In 2011 Rashmi started an organization named CSR Links with a vision to create a platform for NGOs and Companies to connect with each other for strategic CSR initiatives. CSR Links was able to form some successful alliances. She also was the resource person for the middle and senior level management training program on CSR organized by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).

Rashmi volunteered with Social Venture Partners – Pune Chapter for two years (2015-16, 2016-17), mentoring NGOs in project development and project implementation, which included preparation of project documents, presentations for funding and hand holding during project implementation.

For the past four years, Rashmi has been actively involved in Financial Literacy for women and children. She organizes one-day workshops to train them on the basics of financial planning, financial management, banking and insurance.
