George Shea is a recently retired healthcare executive for Kaiser Permanente, Dignity Health and El Camino Hospital.  Currently he serves on several non-profit boards, a citizens advisory committee for Santa Clara County and as a mentor for a national organization for leadership development.

George has over 40 years of experience leading healthcare operations with 20 to over 1,000 staff.  During his career, he was involved with hospital operations transformation, Y2K preparation and remediation, facilities planning for medical centers, leading multiple clinical and support services departments.  He developed innovative operation processes and new roles for healthcare professionals.

He is a registered pharmacist in California, holds an MS in Healthcare Management and an Executive MBA.
